Job description
Delivering paint and consumables to car bodyshops, garages and dealers by preparing, loading, unloading, unloading pallets, shelf stacking incoming stock, picking orders and keeping the warehouse clean and tidy; opportunity to develop into other parts of the business.

Duties

Prepares van for operation by inspecting general condition; checking fluid levels and tyre pressures; notifying any required repairs; validating adherence to road ability standards.

Loads van by ordering, placing, and securing items.

Delivers items by identifying destinations; establishing route; operating the van; unloading items; maintaining schedule; maintaining contact with base for further instructions.

Unloads incoming pallets and checks items against delivery notes; storing stock accurately; picking orders; keeping the warehouse clean; tidying used packaging material.

Obtains payment by accepting cash, cheques, and credit card payments; obtain signature from customer for delivery, with date/time.

Maintains van operating efficiency by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions.

Maintains safe operation and clean appearance by complying with organisation operational policies, procedures, and standards, as well as driving rules and regulations; cleans van exterior and interior.

Updates job knowledge by participating in training opportunities.

Job description
Mixing paints, serving customers on our trade counter to retail and trade customers. Warehousing will consist of unloading & loading pallets, shelf stacking, sorting incoming stock, picking orders and keeping the warehouse clean and tidy; opportunity to develop into other parts of the business. You will also be required to take phone calls from customers in a professional manner.

Duties

Mixing of paint for customers.

Respond to customers requests for stock and general queries either by telephone or over the counter and select and assemble goods accurately for customers as required.

Maintain adequate stocks of product in anticipation of customer demand and control stock movement using appropriate company documentation.

Report and take necessary action in respect of damages, discrepancies or faults, to ensure goods are fit for resale and any product likely to exceed its shelf life to be reported to management or sold.

Answer telephone and counter enquiries and complaints in a prompt, courteous and efficient manner.

Carry out all duties so as to promote good customer relations and develop future business.

Carry out other non-specified duties as required by senior management from time to time.
